ACT FOR SUSTAINABLE CONSUMPTION IN THE CONTEXT OF CIRCULAR ECONOMY IN LINE WITH SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS
The ACT4SC project aimed at supporting young people education in the context of the „UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development“ and the multiple European Circular Economy implementation processes. ACT4SC project has 9 partners from Germany, Netherlands, Romania, Bulgaria…. This project will run between 15-26 October 2019 in Cluj-Napoca, Cluj, Romania organized and hosted by IRCEM. There will be 45 participants with Romania. There is %50 gender equality. Each partner will send 4 participants and 1 group leader. Starting from the problem of lack of culture oriented towards sustainable consumption among young people, identified at our community and partners level, we propose to develop the ACT4SC project on circular economy, aiming to empower young people towards sustainable consumption, use more targeted information practice so that young people can experience sustainable consumption and understand what it means. This is to meet young people who want to develop their eco-design skills, thus paying great attention to product lifecycle and ecological design principles and practices for accomplish sustainable development goals. The objectives of the project are: O1. Educating 45 young people in the field of sustainable consumption in the economy, introducing new methods for developing sustainable consumption for 10 days. O2. Developing entrepreneurial spirit for 45 young people for 10 days in the field of circular economy. Among the topics addressed are: – the exchange of good practices in the field of sustainable consumption; – finding solutions to environmental issues by using eco-design as the main tools in eco-responsible business; – analysing how globalization affects sustainable consumption on intercultural learning and social inclusion policies for young people. The ACT4SC project team is made up of professional leaders with experience in youth training and develops eco-entrepreneurship based on the needs of young people to identify with the environment.
We are planning to build a new generation how know the importance of sustainable consumption to policy makers and to the interested public. With this education course 45 young from 9 countries will attend a youth exchange as a result of using environment as learning means and theme by using participant approach, involvement, and dynamisms of young for this process. As we see in activities, we will try to reach our plans that (study visits, outdoor activities, peer education model, workshops etc.) create awareness, improve international collaboration, inform much more people with multiplier effect, make them more active citizenship, contribute on making hem internalize the learning and learning process by using various methods.
