European Youth Event, May 2020 in Strasbourg

The European Youth Event is an international event hosted every two years by the European Parliament in Strasbourg. The fourth edition of the EYE, organized under the tag „The Future is now”, will be held at the EP from 29 to 30 May 2020.

During the two-day-long event the young people aged between 16 and 30 years will have the opportunity to meet with European policy makers, share their opinions on numerous important issues and influence the future of Europe. Overall, there will be roughly 300 different activities organized by the EP, youth organizations and participants, including panel discussions, meetings with specialists from different fields, artistic and sport activities, etc. The ideas of young people collected during the event will be presented to the Members of the European Parliament in a special report.

The first edition of the European Youth Event organized in 2014 registered about 5,000 young participants. The last event held in 2018 brought together roughly nine thousand participants from 109 nationalities. Also this year, the organizers predict to host thousands of young people from all around the world, together with speakers, organizations and policy makers.
