What is Erasmus+ Online Linguistic Support (OLS)?

OLS
Online Linguistic Support, support tool offered to Erasmus+ programme

The Online Linguistic Support Erasmus+ (OLS) is the support tool offered to Erasmus+ programme participants in language learning. With OLS you can test your foreign language skills and participate in online courses to improve your language skills.

The first step is to evaluate your language skills by means of a test administered to all those who wish to participate in mobility activities of at least 2 months, the result of which does not preclude participation in the programme, but allows you to identify the category of people who need support.

Depending on the language skills possessed, it is possible to participate free of charge in online language courses and, at the end of the mobility period, a second test will assess the progress achieved by the participants.

The OLS can be used on PCs, tablets and smartphones with Internet connection and the available languages are: Bulgarian, Czech, Danish, German, Greek, English, Spanish, French, Croatian, Italian, Hungarian, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovak, Finnish and Swedish.

The European Commission has also extended the service to 100,000 refugees in order to ensure their proper integration into education and training systems in Europe, within the limits of the number of licenses available. The associations participating in the initiative are universities, vocational education and training organisations, NGOs, youth organisations, civil society associations and many others. Refugee workers also have a number of OLS licences available to them.
